We interrupt our regularly scheduled blogging with some news: the PPCC is moving house, people! Specifically, the PPCC has moved to the other side of the world and is now residing in Fiji. As many of you know, Fiji has a substantial community of Indian descent due to its history as a British colony. This has had cultural influences far and wide, and we at the PPCC were fascinated to see Hindi-language newspapers and bookshops and Hindu temples and Muslim mosques and big Shah Rukh Khan posters and other trappings of the Indian diaspora as we ambled down the street today.
However, while the PPCC is an Asian-flavored movie review blog, and we are happy to see many Asian films around, an internet connection is just as important. And this the PPCC does not have. Ergo the PPCC is indefinitely (but hopefully not for long) on hold until this issue is resolved.
In the meantime, we are happy to announce that The Big B, AKA Amitabh Bachchan, won the first round of the Dance Off!!, narrowly beating our beloved but recognizably clumsy Shashi, and thus proving that yea, all is right in the world. More on that to follow as well.
